Precast moulds for concrete offers an almost endless variety of products and design options for both above ground and underground construction. From the largest infrastructure projects to the smallest architectural details, precast is one of the most versatile and sustainable building materials available for today’s fast-paced, environmentally conscious construction.
alpi sea has unique know-how in the design and manufacturing of precast moulds and for tunnel construction. alpi sea's strengths are formulated from 20 years of experience in a wide range of precast mould configurations. alpi sea's R&D department is at the leading edge of the implementation of new production techniques and technologies, necessary to improve the design and fabrication of any type of precast mould.

Segment moulds are normally defined according to the tunnel geometry layout. As each tunnel is unique, so is its relevant segment and mould. The mould is entirely dependent on the segment geometry, its engineering can only be made according to the segment concrete design.

alpi sea's goal is to design a segment mould which can produce high quality segments for long periods of time, because the mould will undergo excessive strains. The main source of strains being, the built-in vibrator system which help vibrate the concrete during casting stages, and others are often the numerous casting operations sustained by the mould in order to produce the thousands of segments needed to construct each tunnel.

alpi sea designs and builds precast formwork ”Mould” solutions for every conceivable precast concrete element for large elements for bridges. If needed, our designs will take into account special features required for pre stressing concrete elements.

We have in excess of 15 production yards at our disposal for the past 16 years we have been in business, and these are an integral part of our capabilities for providing the formwork systems for segmental bridges. Recently we supplied a long line production of concrete decking for the construction of the Lampao Dam Bridge for the Tipakorn-Freyssinet J.V in Thailand.

A segment mould is composed of a soffit part, Four (4) sides form and Two (2) Top panels.
The use of concrete elements on stationary tilting table moulds are implemented for the production of concrete wall elements and/or facades and are used where the principle “produce horizontally and removed vertical shuttering work” is required due to transportation, logistics or for the structural reinforcement requirements.

The tilting table moulds consist of a stabilized foundation beam, a horizontal beam surfaced with specially designed steel profile ”Omega” topped with a steel sheet with a particularly high surface quality. The horizontal beams can be moved from the horizontal position along the longitudinal axis by about 80 degrees so that the elements produced can be vertically lifted from this position by means of a hydraulic system.
The tilting table moulds like all other alpi sea moulds systems can be designed in such a way to absorb the pre-stressing forces resulting from the production process of pre-stressed floor slabs and other precast concrete elements.
Staircases moulds can be manufactured in either a lying position in an individual formwork,or in a standing position in cassette formwork system. The lying moulds can be efficiently produced,either on a pallet,or on a production table.This saves additional vibration equipment and heating.

Straight staircases can be produced in different cast positions. Each type has its advantages and peculiarities.
Therefore alpi sea offers for every type the optimal mould.

Depending on the on-site requirements, the going can continuously vary Additional Variostep Components between 220-320mm and the rising can continuously vary between 150-200mm.
